Get to know Alicia Kidd
Described as "a workaholic" and "passionately dedicated to photography and art," Alicia Kidd continuously challenges herself to master and hone her photography skills.
Alicia also teaches photography summer courses in Altos de Chavon School of Design in the Dominican Republic and produces photography workshops and seminars in Puerto Rico. For years, she has worked with various photographers assisting on assignments and photography workshops in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and USA. This has prepared her tremendously in teaching photography concepts, and she successfully mentors and teaches professional photographers, students and serious amateurs. She has been collaborating as Curator for different galleries, specifically promoting and creating awareness regarding photographic projects for both local and international photographers.
Kidd is an ACE (Adobe Certified Expert) in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. She currently lives in Puerto Rico, and travels to various countries for assignments, stills and weddings. She is a member of the WPJA, Wedding Photojournalist Association, a professional organization composed of photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. She is also a member of Fearless Photographers an awesome association for wedding photographers who break rules, push boundaries and love creativity and originality.
