This page will be updated as necessary: last update 2020-05-28
Based on the latest advice we are currently running portrait sessions with strict hygiene measures. However, as the lockdown is easing in Puerto Rico, we are looking at options for restarting limited indoor and outdoor shoots in June.
If appropriate, my reopening plan for portrait shoots will involve:
Indoor sessions: My studio is equipped with gloves, masks, hospital-grade - non-toxic disinfectant for your safety and well being. For photo sessions indoors at other locations, we will need written permission to shoot by the owner of the property.
Outdoor sessions: These will be at a single location (that is, we will arrange all sessions per day to take place in one area - in all likelihood a park) where there is enough space to distance ourselves from other people
Individuals only. Until guidance is updated, only single-person sessions will be considered. Family sessions will be unavailable until meetings with more than one person from outside a household are permitted.
I will maintain a 6 feet distance from you at all times (which is normal anyway for portrait sessions) and wear a face mask (for your protection) throughout the session (where necessary).
All sessions are subject to change: if we suspect we have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19, sessions will be rescheduled. If you or a member of your household has symptoms or been exposed to COVID, we will rearrange your session as well.
I will continue to follow government advice. When it is safe to do so, we will start family sessions again.
If you have a session booked, I will be in contact with you directly to discuss options.
If we have had to postpone your session because of the lockdown, I will be in touch again soon to reschedule
Travel: As soon as traveling is safe, I will resume traveling for portrait sessions, elopements, weddings, workshops, and other events. If your session was planned around your trip to Puerto Rico just know that the island is on the list of Safest Places to Travel.
I will continue to monitor the situation regarding coronavirus / COVID-19, following the government advice, and will post updates on this page.
In the meantime: stay safe, be thoughtful of others, and I hope to be able to see you very soon!
